Click here for Pace’s website www.pacebus.com Pace provides curb-to-curb Dial-A-Ride bus service in Elk Grove Village. Every five years Pace bids out the contract for this service and awarded the contract to MV Transportation, Inc. in 2000.
This service is available to the general public. Simply dial (847) 299-6212 for a reservation at least one hour in advance. Pace also provides semi-scheduled service.
SERVICE HOURS
Monday thru Friday 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
FARE
Full Fare $1.30
Reduced Fare $ .65
(Rates are subject to change at the discretion of Pace. Please call to verify fare rate.)
- Reduced fare categories include the following:
- Children aged 7 to 11
- Children under 7 must be accompanied by a fare paying passenger (maximum of 2 children under 7 ride free, additional children pay reduced fare).
- Senior Citizens aged 65+
- Persons with disabilities who have an RTA Reduced Fare Card or an RTA ADA Paratransit Services Card
- Students (High School or younger, with proper ID) traveling to or from school only, during school hours.

The following regular trips are provided to senior housing complexes in Elk Grove Village.
Stratford Square Mall Shopping Trips
- * Reservations required (minimum of 4 individuals need to request service or trip is cancelled)
- 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month
- Pickups begin at 9:30 a.m., return from Stratford at 3:00 p.m.
Week Night Service
Elk Grove Senior Center (for meal/dinner program)
Call for Ride to Senior Center, scheduled return at 5:45 p.m. Please call for a later return time.
Monday Service
- Mallard Crossing Shopping Plaza (Biesterfield and Arlington Heights Road)
- Pickups beginning at 1:00 p.m., return at 3:00 p.m.
- No Reservations Required.
Tuesday Service
- Super K Shopping Plaza (Biesterfield and Meacham Road)
- Pick ups beginning at 10:00 a.m., return between 11:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
- No Reservations Required.
Thursday Service
- Elks Crossing Plaza and Elk Grove Town Center
- Pickups beginnning at 10:00 a.m., return trips at 11:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
