Pet licenses for all dogs and cats are due by May 31 of each year.  The fee is $4 per license.

Proof of rabies inoculations for dogs and cats over four months of age is required before issuance of the Village pet license.  The pet license tag must be attached to the pet's collar.  In addition, pets are forbidden to run at large and must be leashed when off the owner's property.  Owners are required to remove excretory matter when walking their dogs.

Pet licenses can be purchased in person or by mail.  Village Hall is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and the first Saturday of each month (excluding holiday weekends) from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  A drop box for payment is located at Village Hall and is available 24 hours a day.
